Worry not, pray always

For so often, many of the battles we are worrying about are things God never intended for our lives. We must begin to adopt a mindset to seek Him first prior to making any decisions on our own. You have to begin to ask yourself, “Is this God approved?” Refer to James 1:12, it tells us when a man has been approved; he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to anyone who loves Him.

Let God lead you

Before you begin your day, turn on the news, or get the kids ready for school, take time to ask God for His guidance. Ask Him to guide your decisions, thoughts, words and mindset, so you can live the life God has purposed for you!

It will not grieve you

Then and only then, you may go through trials and tribulations, but it will not grieve you. Read 1 Chronicles 4:10. You will find yourself with a sense of peace (refer to John 14:27), neglecting to worry, blessed day in and day out, and living a fulfilled life because each decision has already been pre-approved by God!

Reflection: Reflect on a time when you sought God’s guidance and how the situation worked out for your good. Remember, He promises to be your shepherd so you will want for nothing, refer to Psalm 23:1.
