A Cup of Water – Matthew 10:42

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” (Matthew 10:42 NIV)

I read a story about a woman who was born with Spina Bifida.  She Went through her childhood with very little care from her absentee Mother and was in and out of the hospital her whole life.

Eventually, her leg was amputated.  She suffered immensely. Her longing was to help children.  She wasn’t sure how she could but then she read Matthew 10:42 and realized that even she could provide a cup of cold water.

She went on to have 2 children, adopt 4 and foster 58.  In addition, she has helped many Homeless families.

When you find asking yourself “What can I do? Remember, even you can provide a cup of cold water.
