Are You A Black Sheep

Because he looked death in the face and didn’t flinch,
because he embraced the company of the lowest.
He took on his own shoulders the sin of the many,
he took up the cause of all the black sheep.
Isaiah 53:12 (MSG)

“Wait. What? Because Jesus died for me, does that make me the lowest? The black sheep? My sins aren’t that bad. I’m not an ax murderer or anything. Maybe I tell a little white lie here and there…..maybe I might do some other little things but they aren’t huge sins.

What do you mean it’s all the same to God? There’s no difference? I’m doomed.

What’s that? I’m not doomed? Just like it’s all the same sin to God, the forgiveness is all the same too? So because this man, who was innocent died for me, the lowest, the black sheep, I am not doomed?

Well then, I accept the title of “The Lowest” or “The Black Sheep” but there needs to be one change. Please make that “The Redeemed Lowest” or the “Saved Black Sheep” going forward.”
