Be A Peacemaker

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9 NIV)

We live in a world full of chaos and unrest.  With the pandemic that has affected the whole world we now have violence in our cities.  People today don’t have peace.  With the lockdown, families are forced to be with each other 24/7 which has caused an increase in domestic abuse.  People are unhappy and they take it out on those close by.

How can we help others to have peace?  If you know someone who is struggling, see if there is anything you can do to make life easier for them.  Maybe babysit a few hours to give the parents and children a break from each other.  Bake something to take to them to let them know that you care.  Share a Bible promise with them.  Ask if they have any prayer requests.  “What would Jesus do?”
