Be an Encourager

When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. (Romans 1:12 NLT)

How do we show that we love God?  By loving each other.  How can we love each other?  By lifting others.  Be an encourager.  Be one who tells others how much they mean to you.  Tell others that you think they are doing a wonderful job.  This is not flattery.  This is telling others how much you appreciate what they do.  There is a lady in my church who tells me each time she sees me that she appreciates everything I do.  It lifts me up.  Share God’s love by being an encourager – let others know that you meet each day how much you appreciate them, especially for the little things they do. When you give joy to others, you are also giving joy to yourself.
