Be Still

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. (Psalms 37:7 NIV)

Be still, be quiet, wait, don’t worry.  This is hard to do when everything is falling apart around you.  It is hard when you see things being done that is not right.  I have had a hard time doing this lately.  I have seen some things that people are doing where I live and I so much want to tell them what the rules are.  It is not a big thing but it makes me upset.  But then I think, who am I to tell others what they should do.  It really is none of my business.  They are not hurting anything.  I am not in charge.  I am learning to let go.  One of the advantages of letting go and being still is you can hear God’s voice speaking to your heart.
