Being the Best Worker Possible

Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. Proverbs 10:4 NIV

None of us wants a lazy worker that may not show up. When they do, they don’t always put in an honest day of work. Most employers won’t keep a person if they can’t expect the employee to produce. Have you ever thought about applying this to our work for the LORD? Are we diligent in our work of spreading the Gospel? Can we do more? Sometimes, the work is so great we feel we don’t accomplish much. It can be overwhelming when we realize how many people in this world have never heard of the name Jesus. It can be discouraging. When we do the best we can, God will bless us. He will give us the strength and abilities to do all we can if we allow Him to use us.
