Children of God – What Divine Love!

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1 NIV

Do you spend time contemplating the matchless love of our Heavenly Father? What a privilege it is to be called children of God. And that is what we are. We are loved so much that the Heavenly Father allowed His son to come to this earth to show their love by Jesus taking on our punishment for our sins. How can we not love someone who has that much love for us? Unless we know Jesus, we cannot fathom that kind of love.

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God– John 1:12 NIV
