Chunky Apple Orange Almond Spread

INGREDIENTS

1 medium apple
1/8 cup raw almonds (about 18)
1 tablespoon orange juice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Remove the core from the apple, and cut into chunks.
  2. Place all ingredients in a NutriBullet or food processor, and blend until smooth but slightly chunky — not too long or you’ll have applesauce.
  3. Spoon out 1/4 of the spread on 100 calories’ worth of crackers, and enjoy (I used 11 stoned wheat bite-size crackers). Share the rest, or store it in the fridge in a sealed container for next time.
