Compassionate Father

Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. (Psalms 103:2, 13-14 NIV)

Earthly parents have compassion and love for their children.  Yet, it cannot compare to the depth of the love and compassion that our Heavenly Father has for us.  He knows our weakness and yet he loves us.
