Developing Character

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.  And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  (Romans 5:3-4 NLT)

Who enjoys difficult times?  Not I! There is something amazing about going through difficult times when you rely on Christ.  When you look to Him to guide you and help you to make the right decisions it strengthens your faith.  Just like going to the gym to strengthen your body, when you go through life’s difficult path your faith grows because you put your trust in Christ.  When you look back you realize how He guided you and held your hand during that time when you didn’t think you could make it through.  You can be assured that He will always be with you when you keep your eyes on Him.
