Don’t Forget

But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. Deuteronomy 4:9 (NLT)

The human memory is funny. We will witness/be a part of/experience amazing things and vow that we will never forget.  But we do. As time passes, memories fade and wonders we experience become only a distant memory. We forget. That’s why the Bible says over and over. Remember. Remember. Remember. Why is remembering important?  Because we will inevitably face another challenge, another scare or another impossibility. When we face those, if we look back on all that God has done in the past we will not be overwhelmed. The impossible becomes possible because we’ve seen him up close and personal. Remember…..
