Faith

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 NIV)

Faith: to believe in someone or that they exist.  Sounds simple enough.  Most of us believe in God or that he exists. But according to Hebrews 11, we must also believe that he responds to us when we look for him. I think that’s where we often falter. We believe that God exists but we don’t really believe that he will respond when we ask or that he even cares enough to be involved in our lives. We have a hard time grasping that the God of the universe cares about our day.  The Bible is very clear that he does. The one thing he wants more than anything is a relationship with each one of us, individually.  If you are having a hard time believing this, try it.  Talk to him, ask him to show up.   He will … because he loves you.
