Family

Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5:8 NIV)

In Paul’s day, there was no government-run services to help people.  Families were expected to help each other.  Really, today should be no different.  We should help our families.  We need to show the love of God by loving our sisters, brothers, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.  Pray for them.  Pray that they will know Jesus.  I have many family members, as you probably do too that don’t know Jesus.  My prayer is that God will use me to reach them that they will be in God’s kingdom.  Sometimes our mission field is in our own backyard.
