Following in Adam’s Footsteps

Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19 NLT

Adam chose to disregard the warnings that God had given him regarding the Tree of Good and Evil. God had said to not eat of it. He knew what would happen if they did. They would be forfeiting their world, giving control to Satan. We are following in Adam’s footsteps when we disregard God’s laws. His laws are there to protect us and bring us happiness. When we choose to disregard God’s laws, we are turning our lives over to Satan and giving him control. There is hope. We can come to the LORD, and He will forgive us and set us back on the right path. It is never too late. Regardless of what we have done in the past, the LORD will forgive us. There is nothing too bad that will keep us from His love.
