God with Us

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 NIV

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.'” Matthew 1:23 NLT

Jesus chose to come to this earth to be with us. He experienced all the pain and suffering for us. All through the Bible we see that He has been with us. He will continue to be with us because He loves us so much.

So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14 NLT

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among His people! He will live with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them. Revelation 21:3 NLT

The phrase “I am with you” is repeated 14 times in the Bible. God was with us in the past.
