God’s Handiwork

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? (Psalms 8:3-4 NIV)

Have you ever been in a remote area that had little night light and looked up at the sky?  When you are in the city, the lights block your ability to see the starry heavens.  I had the opportunity to go camping on a mountain in Northern California.  It is just unbelievable how many stars are visible without a telescope.  It makes you feel so small and insignificant.  Yet God cares about us.  He didn’t just make this planet and everything on it and leave it to its own devices.  No, he cares about each one of us.  Jesus took our penalty for sin so that we may always be with him.  Next time you look up at the night sky, think about the love that God has for you.
