God’s On Our Side

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (2 Kings 6:16-17 NIV)

The Bible has 62 verses with “Fear not” or “don’t be afraid.”  God doesn’t want us to be fearful.  When we find ourselves in difficult situations we need to remember to look to God.  He will make His presence known and will give us encouragement and hope.  Remember when we are on God’s side we are on the winning side.  When we are on God’s side, who can be against us?
