Good Gifts

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11 NIV

November is Thanksgiving month. Our verse today says that God gives us good gifts. What good gifts have you asked of God? When our prayers are answered, we thank the LORD for His goodness. What about other gifts that you receive that you didn’t ask for? God provides so much for us. Yes, we thank Him at mealtime, but what about the rest of the day? Do you thank Him when you nearly avoided an accident? What about a beautiful day when the weather is perfect, and the sun is shining? As you go about your day today, look for ways that you can say thank you LORD for _______.
