He is Always there to Help

But now, O Jacob [your name], listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel [your name], the One who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:1-2 NLT)

Replace Jacob and Israel to your name.  Make this verse personal to you.  Because, in fact, it is God talking to each of us personally.  We have nothing to fear because He has redeemed us through the blood of Jesus Christ.  We are His.  He is with us when we go through difficult times.  Just as He was with the three young men in the fiery furnace, He didn’t keep them from the furnace, He was with them in it.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. (1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT)

We all go through difficult times.  It is at these times we must turn to God for the strength that He will give us to go through the waters of oppression.  It is these times that strengthen our faith.  We come out the other side stronger because we have peace and have experienced the presence of God in the midst of our fiery furnace.

If you are going through a very difficult time, don’t give up.  Throw yourself on the mercy of God.  He will get you through this.  He is going through the fiery furnace with you. He is an overcomer and so you will be also.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT)
