He is King

God is king over all the world; praise him with songs!  Psalm 47:7 (GNT)

As I contemplate the birth of Christ and how he had to give up so much to be small enough to come as a baby. I wonder at the sacrifice – at the love that would give up everything for even one of us. There is a song that has caught my attention lately by Natalie Grant called “King of the World.” The chorus says “When did I forget that you’ve always been the king of the world?”  He always has been the king of the world. When he created it, when he was born a babe, when he died and was resurrected. We will know it for sure when he comes again but until then, let’s bow before him and remember….He is the King of the World.
