He Will Sing for You

The Lord your God is with you;
    his power gives you victory.
The Lord will take delight in you,
    and in his love he will give you new life.
He will sing and be joyful over you

This week I’ve been gone on a business trip. It’s been very productive and good to see my colleagues that live across the country. Today I woke up and was very excited because I get to see my family, especially my new grandson. I can’t wait to see his smile, scoop him up and hug him tight. As I was pondering this, it occurred to me that God feels the same way about us. Take the love you feel for someone you adore. Times that times a bazillion and you still haven’t touched God’s love for us. He loves us more than we can imagine. He can’t wait to spend time with us, share a conversation, see our smiles and scoop us up into his arms. Amazing love…..there isn’t a thought that can adequately express it.
