Hearing God

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day… (Genesis 3:8 NIV)

How do you hear God walking about in a garden?  God came to talk to them every day.  They got to know the sound of “Him”. They were familiar with His voice, His presence. How amazing it would be to be sitting somewhere and recognize that God was near because we are so familiar with His presence that we know it’s Him? How lucky were Adam and Eve? How lucky are we because we too can be this close to God?
