He’s Got Your Back

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV)

What frightens you?  Have you ever been in a situation that really terrified you?  I remember being in California during an earthquake in the 1970’s.  Nothing is more terrifying than having the ground shaking and there is nothing you can do.  I went to the hallway of my apartment and held on to the walls.  The only prayer I could get out was “God help me.”  I love the promises in the Bible where God says He is always with us.  He will never leave us alone.  He is always there.  This means so much to me.  I can be strong and courageous knowing that He has my back.
