His Eye is on the Sparrow

What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. Matthew 10:29 (NLT)

I was sitting at the table watching the birds flit in and out of the bush outside. They were a flurry of activity. Scampering here and there being about their business. They were sparrows. Tiny little things. As I sat there and watched them, something dawned on me. As I was sitting here watching the sparrows, God had his eye on me. Hard to get your mind around but kind of cool to think about.

His eye is on the sparrow; I know he watches me. Civilla Martin
