If God said it, then it is true

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He promises. Romans 4:20-21 NLT

Abraham was promised a son. He didn’t know how since he and his wife Sara were beyond childbearing age. If God said it, Abraham believed it. How does this apply to us today? God is a promise keeper. His Word is truth. If He said it, then it will happen. Sometimes, His promises were contingent on an action on the Israelites’ response. Sometimes, it means to receive the promised blessings, we must be walking with Him. The Bible is full of promises that we can claim today. If you don’t have a promise book, pick one up at Walmart, a Christian bookstore, or Amazon. Reading God’s promises will lift your soul. Turn the promises into a prayer. It is a good way to start your day.
