Letting the Bible Interpret Itself

Whom shall He teach knowledge? And whom shall He make to understand doctrine? Those weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; (Isaiah 28:9-10 MKJV)

Do you know what a precept is?  It is a command or principal.  In learning a new language, you have to learn in steps.  Each step builds on the previous steps. I enjoy putting jigsaw puzzles together.  I like to put the outside pieces together first.  I then sort all the pieces by color or design.  The Bible is like a jigsaw puzzle.  To understand God’s Word, we must look at all of the texts on a given subject to see the whole picture.  This way we let the Bible interpret itself.
