Letting Your Light Shine

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 NKJV)

Letting our light shine is not to bring attention to ourselves but to point others to Jesus. Our daily actions, our words, what we do say volumes about where our heart is. When Christ is in us, we will reflect His character. If your light is getting dim, go back to the source and confess what is blocking the light. He forgives and restores. We need a refilling of His Spirit each day.  Like the manna that was given to the Israelites daily, we need the Holy Spirit poured on us daily so that we have can shine for Jesus.
