Life by the Spirit

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 NIV

Who are we walking with? Do we follow our natural inclination to live a sinful life, or do we follow the Holy Spirit’s leading? It all comes down to choice. There can be a conflict of interest. Which way will we go? We can do what pleases us, which is only temporary, or we can choose to follow Christ, which leads to eternal life.

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 NIV
