Love From A Mother

I recently watched a video about Animal Mothers nuturing and caring for their young, which inspired me to write this to my daughter. May God bless her in all she does and becomes.

I would hold on to your forever, but I know that would stunt your growth. I am ready to let go because I know you are ready to take the reins. I know you can only become stronger if I step back and let you lead, find your own way, forge your own path. I now stand and watch and wait hoping you know that I will always be here for you. If you stumble, if you fall, if you need a helping hand, I am here to love you and guide you always.
