Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NLT)
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I am patient and kind even when others are not patient and kind to me. I am patient even when others are taking too long to do a particular task.
I am not jealous when someone else gets the job I desired. I put others ahead of myself.
I am humble and not boastful or proud.
I am not rude even if others are rude to me.
I am not controlling or demanding to have my own way even (when I know I am right).
I do now show my irritability even when I am not feeling well or anxious and someone steps on my last nerve.
I don’t keep a record of all the times someone hurt me. I am forgiving even when I am not asked to forgive.
