Our Accuser

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation 12:10 NIV

Revelation 12:7-17 gives us a little insight into the workings of Satan. Because of his rebellion against God, he and the angels that followed him were kicked out of heaven. He came to the earth to mislead us into rebellion against God. However, Jesus has us covered with His sacrifice on the cross. We can be overcomers through the blood of the Lamb. It is time to rejoice because we have received salvation through Christ Jesus. Our Messiah lives today. Satan is at war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony about Jesus – the Gospel of Truth. When you feel under attack today, remember that Jesus has already won the war on our behalf.
