Pray without ceasing, (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV)

It’d been weeks since I started praying. Weeks of pleading with God for answers to my request. Weeks of looking for answers and signs that he heard me. Nothing. Oh sure, I’d gotten Bible texts telling me to wait, to be patient but I’d not had direct answers; no lightbulb went off. Sometimes prayer is like that. We pray, we plead, we bargain and nada, zilch, nothing. What we need to remember is that just because we can’t see something happening, it doesn’t mean God is not at work. So often how God is working is lost on us because we are only focused on our immediate request. And then, in a nanosecond, we get a glimpse of tiny movement. That movement, no matter how small, is God’s movement. God is always at work, he never stops. Never stop praying. PUSH – Pray Until Something Happens
