Our verse today says that if we take the name “Christian”, we will earnestly seek the LORD. We will:
Pray with humility. Humility involves recognizing our dependence on God and acknowledging His sovereignty in our lives. Prayer is seen as a vital means of communication with God. We will humbly seek God’s guidance and intervention through prayer.
Seeking God’s Face: The phrase “seek my face” suggests a desire for intimacy and communion with God. It goes beyond mere religious rituals or requests for blessings; it speaks to a longing for a deeper relationship with God. Seeking God’s face implies a sincere pursuit of His presence, wisdom, and will.
Repentance and Turning from Wickedness: The verse highlights the significance of repentance and turning away from sinful behavior.
