Praying for Others

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV

Paul says we should pray for our leaders, the leaders of our government, leaders of our churches, leaders that will have an impact on our right to worship God. The time will come when we may not have the freedom to worship God as we desire. Until that day we thank God for the religious freedoms that we have today. Time is running out and there are so many that don’t know the LORD. The time is now to act to share the Gospel while we can.
