Sharing the Good News

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. Acts 20:24 NLT

In Acts 20:17-38, Paul calls for the elders and leaders of the church in Ephesus to meet him in Miletus.  Paul had received word from the Holy Spirit that he has prison and suffering ahead. He had spent three years in Ephesus and the people there were special to him. He called a meeting to say goodbye and give them advice. Paul was not going to give up. He knew what lay ahead but he would continue working for the Lord as long as he could. We also should keep going with the ministry that God has given each of us regardless of the challenges we face. As long as we have breath, may we continue working sharing the Good News of the love that the Father has for us and the sacrifice that the Son did that we may have eternal life with them.
