Stretching for Health

See the picture…now lay down on your stomach and do this stretch…it is called the Superman or “Superwoman” stretch.

How?  While lying on your stomach, stretch your arms out in front of you and at the same time raise your legs about 10 inches off the ground.

Hold this position for about 10 seconds and release.  Repeat two more times for a total of three repetitions.

Do the Superman/woman stretch three times per week.

Why?  This simple stretch can help to relieve backaches and stretch your abdominal muscles…keeping your mid section toned and your back a moment from strain.
