Terrors of the Night

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. (Psalms 91:5-6 NIV)

During the year of the plague of COVID-19, we have often looked to Psalms 91. It gives us encouragement in knowing that we don’t need to fear the terror that surrounds us because we know in whom we belong. We have a Savior in whom we trust. We may suffer through difficult times, but we have hope for the coming of Jesus when all things will be made right. Death will not separate us from He who has power over death. Keeping our eyes on Jesus will get us through the terrors of the night.
