Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

What a blessing it is to receive comfort when we are going through life’s problems. Having received comfort from God, either directly or from others, prepares us to comfort others who go through similar problems. Watch today for others that are going through difficult times and offer them words of encouragement. Maybe what they need is a listening ear. Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us without giving advice.
