The door is always open

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 NIV

Our verse today is an invitation to go to the throne room of God. The door is always open. We don’t need permission like Esther did when she wanted to approach her husband, the king of Persia (Esther 4:11). No, God is always waiting for us to come to Him. He loves it when we stop in unannounced. Hebrews tells us we can approach Him with confidence. He freely gives us mercy and grace.
