The First Rainbow

Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.” (Genesis 9:17 NLT)

What do you think of when you see a rainbow in the sky?  God gave the rainbow as a sign to Noah and us that He will not destroy the whole earth with water again.  Do you realize that most rainbows are seen after a storm?  God promises to be with us during our storms just as He was with Noah and his family on the ark.  The rainbow reminds us that God is there.  He will deliver us.  The rainbow gives us hope and trust in His grace and compassion for us.
