The Invitation

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)

Jesus invites us to come to Him.  The world is filled with unrest, war, violence, and terror.  People don’t have peace and satisfaction.  There is only one way to find peace in this weary world.  Jesus has given us an invitation.  He says, “Come to me”.  He is inviting us to come to him for peace, comfort, happiness, and salvation.

He invites those that labor and are heavy laden.  He invites those who are under a burden of guilt; Those who are seeking deliverance from sin; Those who are wearied in the ways of the world, they are invited to come to Jesus and find relief.  Our greatest burden is the load of sin we carry.  It is so heavy that it will crush us if we have no relief.  All that are burdened by sin are promised rest.

Come to Him today.
