The LORD Who Heals

He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 NIV

The same promise that the LORD made to the Israelites when they left Egypt applies to us today. If we read the Bible and put into action the things we learn, we will be far better off physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Bible is a guide on how to live life. The stories are examples of people who made good choices and not-so-good choices and their consequences. We sometimes think it will not be the same with us, so we disregard the advice. Too late, we find that had we taken the other path, we would have been better off. It is not too late to follow God’s guidance in His book of 66 love letters.
