There Is Power in the Word of God

For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 MKJV)

There is power in the Word of God! It changes people.  It can take someone who is down in the pit of despair and lift them up into the light of Christ.  It speaks to us with words of hope.  It speaks to us with instruction.  As we put into practice what we learn from God’s word, He opens more truths to us.  If your having a difficult day, try focusing on some of the praise Psalms.  It will lift up your soul.  What book can you read over and over again and see something new?  God has many treasures hidden in the pages of His word just waiting for you to discover.
