I am trying to live by this verse. I have slowly been changing what I do. I am careful what I watch and listen to. But more than just removing things from my life I am trying to add. I am trying to spend more time in God’s Word. I enjoy spending time in God’s nature. I enjoy taking pictures of His creation – flowers, animals, etc. I try to speak encouraging words to others.
Norman Vincent Peale, founder of Guideposts, talked about positive thinking. That is what this verse is telling me. Dwell on the positive, on the good, what is lovely, and what is praiseworthy. Think about these things. It will change your life. You will have more peace in your soul. It has made a difference in my life.
