Thy Will Be Done

“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10 NIV)

May Your will be done, in all things, in the things that are good and the things that are bad.  When I don’t understand, when I’m frustrated and angry, when I am hurt.  May Your will be done. There is no way for us to get the point of complete surrender unless we mean the first part of the prayer, “Our Father”.  He’s got to be our Dad and we’ve got to trust Him before we can say “Thy will be done.”
