Two Choices

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:5 NLT)

“But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. (Jeremiah 17:7 NLT)

Since the beginning of creation, humans have been given the power to make choices.  God told Adam and Eve the consequence of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  All through the Bible, God has given humans choices.  He has also given the consequences of our choices.  He always encourages us to choose Him.  He brings hope and confidence that we can’t get from the world.  He also promises to give us eternal life with Him. He has so much more to offer.  The world can only give us temporary happiness for a short time. I want to choose to trust in God.  He has my best in mind.
