We Have Hope!

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. (1 Corinthians 15:17 NIV)

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul talks about the resurrection of Christ.  It is the resurrection that gives our faith confidence.  Knowing He died for our sins and then was resurrected tells us we can expect to live again if we die become He returns.  There are many people who started religious groups that have died and are still in the grave.  Jesus said He would rise again after three days and He did as He promised.  He promises to come back and take us home with Him.  We can have assurance that He will keep His promises.  His resurrection gives us hope.  Without hope in Christ we are hopeless.  We would have no way out of our sins. Thank you Jesus, for your death, burial and resurrection.  We have hope!
