Where Is Your Focus?

Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 NIV)

What does it mean to fix your eyes on Jesus?  To me it means to remove all of the world’s distractions from my life.  The question I need to ask myself is “What is keeping me from focusing on Jesus?”  To me, Jesus is my all in all.  If this is what I think and feel, then I need to make Him priority in my life.  He has put faith in each of us.  As we behold Him, He changes us into His image.  He perfects our faith in Him.  This is not something that happens overnight but through time spent with Him each day.  We will also receive the joy He has received from the Father because He endured the cross for us.  May you find endless joy by beholding Christ today and every day.
