With God on Our Side

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from Me. I, the LORD, have spoken! Isaiah 54:17 NLT

With God on our side, nothing can prevail against us. He will care for us and vindicate us before our enemies. Evil people and even demons can prevail against God. We are vindicated because we are the servants of the Most High God. We need to remember when faced with forbidding circumstances resulting in suffering and injury at the hands of evil people, we have the LORD on our side. We need not fear.

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Psalms 118:6 NIV

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 NIV
